2010 RESOLUTION AGAINST LAKE MICHIGAN WIND FARM

By a vote of  8-1, the NCBA trustees adopted a resolution opposing the proposed wind farm in Lake Michigan. The text of the resolution was as follows:

“BE IT RESOLVED that the NCBA opposes the wind farm in Lake Michigan proposed by Scandia and its partners.  Be it further resolved that NCBA endorses the efforts of Lake Michigan POWER Coalition to stop the wind farm.  Be it further resolved that NCBA urges its members to support the efforts of Lake Michigan POWER Coalition, including financially.”
